Ms. Rivera joined the LAAAE faculty as a part time Drama instructor in September 2007.  She earned her bachelor's degree in American Studies and Theater Arts from UC Santa Cruz.  Before joining LAAAE, she served as
an in-house Educational Specialist at Zeum Children's Art and Technology Museum in San Francisco where she taught animation, film-making, and theater. Ms. Rivera is also currently teaching for the Inner City Arts Foundation.
